Year joined: As an Under 11 (I think!)
Role: Centaurs/Dragon’s Teeth/Horde coach; former 1st XV player; ex-Sevens captain.
Best rugby memory: Winning down at Frome in 2005 when we were in a relegation battle. I came on for Seb after he’d suffered a concussion and had to play in the centres with Andy Amor despite normally being back row.
It was an experience, but winning the game was immense.
On the Sevens side, we had some brilliant tours and getting to the final in Dubai was fantastic.
Worst rugby memory: Playing for the county at Under 16 level, breaking my arm at Bracknell.
Favourite food: Pasta.
Favourite drink: Guinness.
Favourite travel destination: Dubai.
Favourite Rams try: One of Kieran Leicester’s tries for the Centaurs, when we won at Bracknell to be the only team to beat them that season.
Favourite ever try: Gareth Edwards for the Barbarians against the All Blacks in 1973.
Favourite ever player(s): Laurence Dallaglio.
Favourite current player: Sam Simmonds.
Other hobbies: Looking after the dogs, which keeps my wife happy, and getting the children to rugby training on time!
Favourite TV show: Top Gear.
Favourite musician: Jamiroquai.
Favourite song: Thunderstruck by AC/DC.
Favourite rugby ground(s): OBR or Twickenham.
Second team: Dubai Hurricanes.
Favourite other sports: Football – quite a lot of my mates support Reading FC although I’m trying to get them to start coming down here.
One rule change you'd make in rugby: Make the scrum quicker – avoid the resets by penalising teams straight away so you can get on with the game.
Best thing about Rams RFC: The family atmosphere – you come down here and whether it’s first team or Under 9s – everyone makes you welcome which is fantastic.
