He becomes the ninth new player to commit for the 2026/27 season.
The 29-year-old has spent the past three years playing in France, originally for Orleans and most recently Chartres.
But after the latter were denied promotion due to financial misgivings, Darren has decided to relocate back home.
First picking up a ball at Haywards Heath RFC, Darren later joined Millfield Prep and then Senior Schools, the stand-off becoming part of the Bath Development programme at 15.
He made his senior debut against Leicester Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh Cup before helping Bath beat Bristol Bears on his Prem debut.
Still a teenager at Bath University, Darren represented England in two World Under 20s Championships, helping take the title in their home 2016 tournament.
He went onto feature 29 times in total for Bath across domestic and European outings, while also spending time on loan at Championship sides Jersey and Richmond.
And after opting for a new life and two new projects on the other side of Le Manche, 6ft 1in and 86kg ace Darren is hoping to fire Rams to Level Two.
