And the fightback continued as Zack Taylor’s effort made it 26-20.
But Army regrouped as Tagutu doubled up, Mikey McDonald with the extras.
A 25-minute stalemate ended with Matt Dawson grabbing the Red Shirts’ sixth try, ensuring a second-placed finish with Royal Navy the unbeaten champions.
