Taking up the sport at as a Mini at Chippenham RFC, Max climbed through the ranks – Academy Coaches’ Player of the Year in the 2019/20 season – and made his adult debut as a teenager in September, 2021, before heading down to Wales.
The Bristol-born front row, who can play on either side of the scrum racked up 53 BUCS caps for Swansea and also helped them to victory in the 2024 Varsity game with Cardiff.
He also featured for Scarlets Development, having also played County Championship rugby for Dorset & Wilts.
