RAMS make five changes to their National One starting line-up for tomorrow’s home clash with Bury St Edmunds.

The Berkshire boys are looking to bounce back from defeat in Birmingham, with Pete Austin returning at hooker.

Ryan Lomas steps up from the bench at tight-head with Paddy Harris completing the front row.

Ryan Cozens has a new second-row partner in Liam Saayman, the latter switching from the blind-side flank.

His spot in the No. 6 shirt is taken by Player of the Week and last Saturday’s skipper Ben Atkins.

Mikey Duda remains at open-side with the pack completed by returning captain Willo Bicknell.

Matt Wickham, Ross McKay, Ellis Jones and Matt Blee remain in tact at half-back and midfield for the fifth consecutive game.

All four have touched down in the past fortnight.

And they will be looking to build on some of the fluent play they served up last week, especially in the opening quarter.

Classy Clow back from injury

Zach Clow is back from four weeks out with an ankle injury to take the right wing jersey.

He enjoyed a fine start to the season with two tries in the opening two games against Sale FC and Dings Crusaders.

They took his Rams’ career tally to an impressive 50 in 77 outings.

On the other flank, Axel Kalling-Smith has 46 in 98 as he moves ever nearer to becoming a centurion.

The final change sees ex-Bath man Darren Atkins in at full back after returning from injury last week.

Props Ant Marris and Sam Stirling – having completed concussion protocols – are restored to the bench.

Bath loanee back row Alex Ridgway is the forwards cover.

Versatile former Mini Theo Pett-Ridge can play almost anywhere in the back line, while there is a potential debut for scrum-half Mikey McDonald.

He is the third Army man in the squad alongside Austin and Blee.

Four travelling reserves are named in the form of hooker/prop Max Marshall, back five forward Ollie Stirling, scrum-half Arthur Garfield and centre/wing Isaac Tokura.
