TOP TRY-SCORERS AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER

THIRTEEN different players and a penalty try have helped Rams cross the whitewash 19 times in their opening four National One games of the season.

And it means the Berkshire Boys have secured four bonus-points for their attack.

There are five players with two, led by Pete Austin who bagged a brace at Dings Crusaders.

Zach Clow collected the first of the season against Sale and followed up in Bristol a week later.

Flanker Johnny Ireland was at the double versus Sale, while Axel Kalling-Smith crossed twice in the home game with Bishop’s Stortford.

Max Marshall completes the quintet having dotted down in the past two games.

Stortford and Rosslyn Park were his victims.

Debutant Sam Stirling was the other try-scorer in the seasonal opener against Sale.

Willo Bicknell then got off the mark at Crusaders.

James Baker – scoring for a remarkable 19th different season – was joined by fellow prop Ant Marris in crossing versus Stortford.

And four more went over for a first of the campaign against Rosslyn last week.

Oli Sedgwick dotted down on debut before Mikey Duda and Ross McKay scored at the end of the first half.

Matt Blee kept the dream alive midway through the final quarter, before the dramatic and match-winning late penalty try.

The current try split between forwards and backs, including the penalty try denied to Kalling-Smith, currently stands at 11-8.
