In a third-versus-sixth clash, Rams seek revenge for a 26-7 defeat at Old Bath Road in October.
Blackheath, though, have won their past seven home games and have lost on their own patch just once this term.
And the Director of Rugby revealed: “It’s a big challenge. They’ve been going great guns under a new coaching team and playing some decent rugby.
“It’s always a great place to go, a decent track and a well-supported side, so we’re looking forward to it.”
Harding heads list of threats
Leading the Club charge is hooker and captain Billy Harding, who has a staggering 35 tries to date.
He has scored in all 19 games and has five hat-tricks.
Seb continued: “We’ll try to be the first to stop him!
“He’s a brilliant player whose been fantastic this season, especially off the back of the maul.
“They do other things as well though, and it would be rude to Blackheath to suggest they’re only a mauling side.
“They’ve got lots of other weapons and looked very good on the counter-attack against Moseley last week, really taking their opportunities.”
Rams go into the contest with three wins in their past four games, and reflecting on their form, the head coach commented: “Every week there’s a bit of a referendum on where the side is at – you’ve got people with opinions and it’s great the team are generating those.
“There’s been inconsistency, but the likes of Max (Hayman), Ed (Hoadley), Connor (Stapley) and the other more experienced players are doing a great job of working on that with the side.
“Looking at the back five in the pack from last season, there was so much knowledge, experience and quality, and they’re all gone.
“It’s been over to a new core of guys, and they’ve been brilliant.
“I think we’ve played some wonderful rugby, some of the best we’ve ever produced at this level, and it’s with a young group.
“I’m happy with how it’s going, but we want to win each weekend.”

MacRae earns Head Coach’s praise
Rams make four changes to the side which beat Clifton last Saturday, with Paddy Harris and Aaron Tull starting in the pack, Ollie Hodgson and Morgan MacRae among the three-quarters.
The latter regains the inside centre shirt for the first time since mid-November, and Seb praised the former Wales 7s ace.
He said: “Morgan’s done a lot right.
“Firstly, he’s exhibited an outstanding attitude.
He went on loan back to Henley where he did a great job, he’s improved and when he came off the bench last week, he showed those elements.
“You can’t deny what he brings from a quality perspective, he’s an outstanding ball-carrier with huge physicality and he’s earned the right to go back in there.
“It’s up to him to now go and do the business.”
The Blackheath game is the first of the final three away days of the campaign, long-distance trips to the top two of Plymouth Albion and Rotherham Titans following.
And the DoR ended: “It would be great to have more good travelling support, the players love it and it’s a decent place to watch.
“We’ll hopefully see plenty of Rams fans there.”
